The bee colonies are carefully cared for and the honey is disposed of in Löttorp.

Beeswax candles

The candles emit a fresh and sweet honey scent. Unlike other candles, these beeswax candles contain no petroleum-based chemicals.

The flames from the beeswax candles burn brighter, clearer and longer than ordinary animal or crude oil-based paraffin or candles that pollute the indoor air when burned.

The candles have been known since the Middle Ages to relieve allergic symptoms such as stuffy noses, asthma and hay fever. Recent studies show that beeswax candles can also be beneficial in treating symptoms of depression and insomnia.
